VineKids COVID-19 protocols
Our goal in VineKids is to glorify God and walk alongside children and families as they learn about God’s love - and to do this in a safe, fun, and engaging environment! We are operating with the below guidelines and policies, and will consistently re-evaluate and adjust as needed and recommended for best practices when working with kids.
Check in:
Each child’s temperature will be taken upon arrival.
Children with signs of possible illness or a temperature of 100.4°F or higher will be unable to participate in VineKids programming that week.
Masks are optional for all participants. If a parent wants to ensure that a child wears a mask during programming, please let us know at check-in and we can make a note to reflect that on the child’s tag and help support that preference.
Hand sanitizer will be available upon arrival.
VineKids Leaders:
Will undergo a temperature check upon arrival.
Will request a substitute serve in their place if they have/had symptoms that may be related to COVID-19.
Will wear a fresh pair of gloves during diaper changes in the nursery.
General Information and Guidelines:
All toys, surfaces, and furniture will be cleaned and sanitized before and after programming each week.
Hand sanitizer will be available throughout class as necessary.
Staff members, volunteer leaders, and children who tested positive will be asked to follow CDC guidelines, and not return until they are fever free for 2 or more days, symptoms have improved, and it has been 10 days since the onset of symptoms.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for trusting your children with VineKids. Providing a safe and loving environment is our priority - and we appreciate your partnership in that!
