Donate Blood or Platelets on June 15!
Some members of our own Vine community have benefitted recently from blood given by generous donors. We have an opportunity to also be generous and help others in need by donating blood or platelets on Saturday, June 15, 9:00am-3:00pm. MD Anderson will be hosting a blood and platelet drive in The Vine office’s parking lot (the intersection of Monterey Oaks and 290 access road), and you can sign up below for a time slot and to find out more.
Anyone is welcome to this blood drive, so please invite your co-workers, neighbors, friends and other communities you are a part of to sign up.
Information regarding stem cell donation through BeTheMatch.org will also be available this day for those who are interested.
Donating blood or platelets is a small but potentially life-saving act that we can make in solidarity to help others -- please consider signing up!
Come on out and spend a summer morning with us at the park!
Join us on Saturday, June 22, 9:30am-11:30am at Dick Nichols park for a morning of fun and games. This will be a casual time for anyone and everyone to join in on games like volleyball, Spikeball and other yard games. Kids will enjoy running around the playground and taking a swing at the piñata! We'll have snacks and water, and we encourage you to bring any other outdoor toys or activities you enjoy.
