It’s that time again- let’s share our closets! Please bring gently used clothing items to church that you have been wanting to donate- and then we will have a Shared Closet experience on Sunday Sept 20th! Any remaining items are donated to Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center.

Andy Gullahorn is a singer/songwriter originally from Austin, TX. He moved to Nashville, TN back in the 1900’s to attend Belmont University and upon graduating, he married a girl who was about to sign a record deal with Word Records. This was Andy's greatest achievement. After years of playing guitar on the road with his wife and writing songs for various other artists, he started recording his own records again and returned to the road for solo shows as his wife wanted to be home more with their beautiful children who resemble their father. Andy spends most of the year on the road performing at conferences, house concerts, clubs, retreats, festivals, churches and stairwells. He also has a healthy appetite for hobbies. His favorites include bowling, badminton, collecting used Christmas trees, running the Haunted Woods for neighborhood kids, and giving high fives.

Join us for our Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 25, at the The Vine! Stay after church that day and enjoy some family-friendly fun, snacks, candy, games and more. Kids can wear their fun (non-scary) costumes! We also need folks to host trunks by decorating them with a fun and festive theme! You can team up with others to host your trunk! There will be prizes for best trunk.

NORTHERN FLICKER TOUR with TAYLOR LEONHARDT & ETHAN NATHANIEL

Join Taylor Leonhardt this Fall as she celebrates her new record Northern Flicker with special guest, Ethan Nathaniel. Ethan also has a new album this year called, River of Gladness, a kindred album to Northern Flicker both in their mutual themes of beauty and loss and a true channeling of the Appalachian spirit. Come enjoy a night celebrating the beauty around us, life in its sorrows and joys, and remembering how connected we are to each other.

Taylor Leonhardt's Northern Flicker is an 11-song album exploring what holds people together when life or the world begins unraveling. Taylor is a Nashville-based Americana singer-songwriter developing her own solo sound which draws deeply from the landscapes of the Texas Hill Country, the mountains of North Carolina, and her current home in Tennessee. A truly prolific artist, she is also involved in a variety of collaborative projects (Mission House, Paper Horses, The Porter’s Gate.)

Ethan Nathaniel is a folk singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based out of North Carolina. His newest album, River of Gladness is a 10-song album moving through themes of love, faith, and gratitude.

Join Taylor and friends for a "Happy (or whatever) Hour" where we'll drink a beverage of Taylor's choice and chat about life, music, dogs, fly fishing, (or whatever.)
