Groups

As a relationally-oriented church, we believe God does some of God’s best work in the context of relationships. Therefore, we organize and orient The Vine to facilitate the power of significant friendship, building community outside of the Sunday morning experience. We have different types of groups to help get you connected with others and grow in your faith and in community:

VineGroups: VineGroups are places to explore scripture, share doubts and questions, and pray for and encourage each other. There are many different types of groups meeting throughout Austin – check out available groups at the link below!

Interest Groups: Like gardening, cycling, sewing, pickleball, or cooking? Join an interest group! These are groups that gather around a common interest. Some meet weekly, some monthly, and some are seasonal. Check out current interest groups at the link below.

Cohorts: Cohorts are groups that meet for a specific period of time (usually 4-6 gatherings) to learn about a specific topic together. They usually have a syllabus of sorts and involve readings in between meetings. Past groups have explored topics like scripture and human sexuality, untangling the Bible, recovering from toxic religion, and different forms of prayer. Check out our current cohorts at the link below.
