Let’s bless ICU nurses!
The past 18 months have been extremely difficult for ICU nurses, especially. They are working tirelessly to care for the health of the critically ill patients, communicate with patients’ loved ones, and, at times, be with people in their final moments on earth. The physical, emotional, and mental stress on these nurses continues to be very heavy. We, as a church, want to bless them in some small way to let them know that we still see them and we still thank them for all that they do.
After hearing from some local nurses, we have created a list of items to put in gift baskets that we will deliver to four Austin area ICUs the week of August 29. Want to join us blessing these nurses? Find out more below!

Here are some ways you can help us bless these ICU nurses:

Join us at church on August 29 where we will be assembling the gift baskets
Volunteer to deliver gift baskets to an Austin-area ICU
1. DONATE ITEMS:
Here is a list of items we will be collecting for the gift baskets. You may bring one or a few of all of the items, or feel free to bring a bulk portion of any of these:
Small hand lotions
Lip balms
Mints/tic tac/candy
Chips/grain bars/mixed nuts
Fun, fizzy waters
Canned cold brew coffee
Protein bars
Items with a big shelf life
[No homemade items]
You drop off the items at our worship service on Sunday, August 22 and August 29.
2. HELP ASSEMBLE BASKETS
At our worship service on August 29, we will have a designated time to help assemble the baskets and write thank-you cards to these amazing nurses.
3. DELIVER BASKETS TO AUSTIN-AREA ICU UNITS
