Community Prayer Vigil
The Vine Church invites you to a public prayer vigil on Thursday, January 29 at 7:00pm, gathering outside the front gate of the Texas State Capitol at 11th & Congress. We will come together for prayer, scripture reading, singing, and silence as a way to bear witness and hold space for both lament and hope during a chaotic and troubling time in our country.
Pastor Mark and Pastor Ben will lead us in liturgy and prayer as we seek peace and restoration together. We gather publicly with the intention of presence, reflection, and shared hope.
The gathering will be simple and not long, though you may wish to bring a lawn chair or blanket for comfort. Feel free to invite anyone who may find comfort, meaning, or purpose in this time of prayer.
This gathering is not a protest or a rally, but a vigil—an opportunity to pause, pray, and bear witness together in a public space.

Narratives Experience: Spiritual Growth at The Vine
Join us for an 6-week journey where we will explore the narratives we hold and bring them into the light of the Gospel. This includes the stories we believe about God, ourselves, and why we exist in this world. Through teachings on Sundays after church and processing, you'll seek to integrate the truth and grace of Jesus into the narratives that shape how we see this world. Please contact Fabs@thevineaustin.org for more info and to register!
MLK Pilgrimage
A belief of our community is that one of the most crucial roles of the Church today is that of a peacemaker. As an expression of that value, The Vine is organizing a pilgrimage experience retracing significant moments from Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy and the Civil Rights Movement. We will not only go on pilgrimage to walk in these sacred places, but to also explore the calling of peacemaking for us today.
